Giro had 2 goals in developing the Ionos Road Helmet - make it cool and make it light. The result is the coolest, lightest helmet available. Hours of development time went into making the Ionos virtually "disappear" when you put it on. Sporting 21 massive vents, the Ionos employs a ventilation system that forces 15% more air on and around your head than the market leading Atmos, making you cooler with it on than if you wore no helmet. In mold construction featuring a sleek 4 piece shell and the outer shell forms a tough exoskeleton over the impact absorbing EPS liner. A composite sub frame reinforces vent openings so they're more generous than most other helmets. Roc Loc 4 provides a precise fit. 265 grams.
