    Comments about Nashbar Suspension Pump:

First off I have to say that the pump would leak where the gauge screwed into the pump. I unscrewed the gauge with a wrench, wrapped some plumbers tape around the threads and reinstalled and it works fine.

I was going to buy a shock pump at my local shop and the only one they had was 4x the cost of this one. Luckily the tech there was willing to just use their shop pump to get me on my way. Got this one on sale here and it works just fine. I don't know if it would hold up to heavy shop use but for the occasional adjustment to my shock pressures it looks to be just fine.

        Comments about Nashbar Suspension Pump:

Upgraded to an air fork and needed to pump it up. This was the best price on what looks to be a pretty common type of pump. So, I bought it. It works great. No fuss or problems.

I bought an Manitou Mars 2000...back in 2000 and never had a shock pump. Always suffered using a tire pump living in regret. I'm training for the Maah Dah Hey this august and have gone through and tuned up the old Mars and decided to splurge and get this pump. What a difference!!! You can disconnect it and it doesn't flat out the air charge you just put in. This is how the rich and famous live:)

                Comments about Nashbar Suspension Pump:

THis shock pump is quite functional. It does what it needs to; if you're looking for your first shock pump at this price point, then this will serve you well. It has a little "micro-adjust" button that lets you let just a squeak of air out to fine tune the pressure. Pump a little higher than you want, and then let out a few squeaks of air. If hitting a really specific pressure, like 93 PSI, is important to you, then you need a more sophisticated pump.

                Comments about Nashbar Suspension Pump:

I was a little hesitant to get the cheapest shock pump I could find, but I'm glad I did. This works great, and feels solid in the hands. With a little finesse on the release button, it's very easy to make fine adjustments to pressure, or bleed off a whole lot at once.

The only downside is that it's a bit longer than other shock pumps, since the hose is directly attached and does not swivel and fold back. This could make it a little difficult to reach the valve on some shocks, and it won't fit as well in a small pack.
