Comments about Nashbar Trekking Mountain Bike Handlebar:

I recently purchased this handlebar after reading a variety of reviews I've always had trouble with an adjustment that would free my hands from numbness. After installing these and installing a cork wrap I was hopeful initally. they felt really omfortable and the two additional hand positions were welcome. I participated in a 66 mile race a couple of weeks ago and these handlebars were perfect if I felt like my hands needed a rest I just changed position hands were happy. I look forward to much longer rides to truly test them but i feel pretty confident in them right now.

Comments about Nashbar Trekking Mountain Bike Handlebar:

Used on a 26" HT for combination on/off road rides of >=20miles. For me, the multiple hand positions of this bar help alleviate fatigue better than flat or riser bars. Brake and shift lever position is compromised slightly but the trade-off is worth it.

Comments about Nashbar Trekking Mountain Bike Handlebar:

Fit well on my older GT that I'm in the process of converting to an adventure type touring bike. I need to get the bar wrapped and will be able to review better after that occurs. On the ride I went on after the install, it was fun trying all of the positions the bar allows you to reach while riding.

Easy way to upgrade a hybrid's flat bars to something with more hand positions. Also lets you get in front a little more. Simple to install, too!

Great all around bar. Much more comfortable than a flat bar , with multiple hand positions eliminating numb hands and allowing variation in engaging your core. uses standard flat bar brakes/shifters, with no need to modify cables and for me allowd use of original stem. Great hill climbing bar out of the saddle.

Comments about Nashbar Trekking Mountain Bike Handlebar:

These bars have a slight rise which means you can flip them and have a slight drop(my setup). I used drop bars before and I'm just as fast with these. You can find great positions for climbing. The break, gear shift position is best on the second curve from the stem. Placing them on the end of the bars does not make sense because most people will not place there hands there very often. I thought about getting these for years and I'm glad I finally did.
