Comments about Vittoria Ultralite Road Tube:

Just ordered another 12 of these. I have used them for several years and find them super easy to install. They have a very small diameter and with just a little air in them you can roll them into the tire and rim and they seat perfectly…….. Then when you inflate, there is very little chance of having the tube catch under the bead. The manufacturing quality is very consistent.

Comments about Vittoria Ultralite Road Tube:

I purchased a few other brand tubes, but this brand seems to have th best qualities for me. My impression with the other tubes is that they have a greater range in tube size, which creates too much slack to get pinched.

Comments about Vittoria Ultralite Road Tube:

These are fine, so far. A nice addition to lightweight tires to shed some weight from your ride.

I bought 2 and, on my scale, they weigh in at 84g and 88g for an average of 86g (not 80g). OMG, weight weenies beware!!! ;) That's with the retaining nut, though.

In all seriousness, these are fine tubes.

Comments about Vittoria Ultralite Road Tube:

I put 2,000 miles on a set of these in Vittoria Radiales last year and had no problems and no flats. Be careful when selecting stem length. My Vuelta rims are 30mm high and I could not use the rings on the stems or else my pump would not latch on. As with all the Vittoria products I have had, these tubes are well made. The junction between the stem and the tube is the best I have seen on any tube. I am building a new bike now and I am putting these tubes on it.

Comments about Vittoria Ultralite Road Tube:

Very good lightweight tube. 42mm is a perfect size for my Vuelta wheels, not short and not too long. I run these with my Michie Pro Optimums. No flats but two busted cores. Be careful not to unwind the core all the way as the tip has a tendency to lean towards one side. This causes the pump head to catch and snap off the tip rendering the tube as junk.

Comments about Vittoria Ultralite Road Tube:

Best ultralights I've used, not prone to stem tear-off like some others. Never had the thump problem, and I've used them for a couple of years. Ultralights are thinner, thus more prone to flats than thick heavy tubes. Duh. I have had relatively few flats with these, and I average over 4K miles/year, riding year-round.
