Awesome, now I can bike and "get lost", yet still find my way! It's easy to attach, the material is able to take bumps and shocks and it holds your phone in place. I've a Motorola but it will fit practically any phone. I've yet to encounter any problems, even in the cold.

Comments about Delta Smart Phone Caddy 2:

Tentatively bought this as the dimensions were close for a good fit on my iPhone 5s with an Otter Box case. Was looking for a caddy that would accommodate the Otter Box. The fit is about as perfect as it gets with no added padding. I don't foresee any issues of the phone coming out. The caddy would have to fail for the phone to fall out, the fit is that good. I like the stem mount position and have also went to wireless/Bluetooth earbuds to eliminate being connected to the phone.

Purchased in spring 2014 for my ICE QNT recumbent trike because of difficulties mounting traditional computers on this deisgn bike. With a good phone APP, you have a full function GPS computer with mapping.

Liked it so much, I added one to touring and race bikes for training. I use the headset/stem mount so that it's not taking up handlebar space.I've never had problem with phone being loose or coming out of mount as others have. I use it for Blackberry Z10 (it's one of the few mounts that will work with a Blackberry). The design makes it usable with virtually any phone, except flip phones.

We use this for iPhone 5 & 4S on road and mountain bikes. I took the bands and tightened them by carefully adding additional knots in each end until it gripped my phone perfectly. Even after a crash, my phone hasn't come out.

Comments about Delta Smart Phone Caddy 2:

Bought one for my commuter, to hold the smartphone en route to work. Worked well, so got another for the road bike, and using the iPhone 4 Strava app again. Bought a third for the 'cross bike, and the smartphone apps have pretty well replaced my cyclocomputer dependence.

One caveat: the tension of the elastic band may not be enough to hold the phone when traversing 'rumble strips' carved into the narrow shoulders of some highways. Dropped my phone once crossing these, so I've added an additional narrow bungee to bolster the midsection. I've ridden washboard gravel and root-strewn single-track safely since then.

Comments about Delta Smart Phone Caddy 2:

The item was on sale and I wanted a better solution to carrying my iPhone 4s on my road bike. Mounted it on the handlebar to one side of the stem, using both rubber fillers within the mounting bracket to avoid distorting the bracket as it grips the bar. This was after first installing two adhesive-backed felt spacers (they were included) in each interior corner so the phone would fit snugly within, and it does. No problems with the bungie cord design, which superseded an earlier one that per prior reviews often didn't hold the phone over bumps. I would never use earbuds or headphones while riding, but I found I can play my music at a low level via the phone speaker without compromising my ability to hear surrounding sounds, so that's an added bonus for long solo rides. Overall, it met my need and did so economically.

Comments about Delta Smart Phone Caddy 2:

This is the best smartphone caddy I have used and I have used several. I ride four different type recumbents regularly and have one for each of them! My smart phone does have a rubber protective case around it which makes it a very snug fit in this caddy. One of my recumbents (Rans Vivo) is a dual suspension mountain bike that I thrash in the single tracks pretty often and my phone has never fallen out yet. My Angletec Altitude, a very similar dual suspension road bike has a very small "Hampster Bar" so different mounting options would be nice but thanks to much online recumbent forum discussion, other bent riders helped me do my homework and figure out the best way to mount it and its awesome! Additionally, it was 2/3 the price from nashbar as it was from my LBS! Most of the time I use it on the fairing mount of my catrike so I can talk on the phone, text and listen to Iron Maiden while commuting to work and back. I am on all the major recumbent forums and have recommended it to dozens of other bent riders online and everyone who has bought it loves it!

Comments about Delta Smart Phone Caddy 2:

Rec'd first Delta caddy as a gift from wife for my 'cross/winter bike. Liked it so much, I bought one for my commuter and my summer/road bikes as well. Lightweight and, thus far, durable. Prefer to use my Strava app and iPhone GPS rather than fuss with cyclocomputer sensors anyway. If you are attentive when mounting the unit to your handlebar, in such a way that is also supported by the stem, I can't see how the thing could drop your phone. I ride 6.5 miles one way (13 mi round trip/day) on chip-seal county roads and haven't had to make so much as an adjustment of the setup yet. Now I'm probably jinxed, so I'll report back if any trouble.

I thought this would securely hold my IPhone so I could use its GPS functions. Everything this was fine until I hit a series of small bumps. It was enough to loosen the grip and my new iPhone was hitting the pavement. UGGGH.
