Killer performance for your feet. The CX170 road shoes have molded heels and the BOA lacing system to help give you a fit like you've never experienced before. They've also got stiff soles and mesh in the uppers to improve support and ventilation.
Tektile Synthetic uppers with the BOA lacing system offer improved fit and support
Mesh vents in the uppers boost ventilation to keep you cool and dry
Lake Competition fiberglass-injected nylon outsoles are stiff and responsive to help increase power transfer
Molded, vented heel counter helps cradle your feet to keep them in the optimum pedaling position
NOTE: we've found these shoes run about a 1/2 size big
Lake CX170 Road Shoes

3-bolt; optional 2-bolt with plate installed (included)
These are my first pair of cycling shoes and i've been pretty happy them. The BOA helps give them a good fit, but I wish I could get it 2-3 clicks tighter because I feel some play in my foot, specifically around the heel. Even took a fall in them and scuffed one up real bad, but the shoe survived without any real damage to the structure. Being white, they don't do you any real favors in the looking clean department.
Probably will not buy these again, but only because i'll upgrade to a carbon-soled Lake shoe.
