Hutchinson has been in the "making awesome tires" game since 1923. Originally they made some finely craft road rubber for Tour de France winners (including one former seven-time winner from Texas), but they've also branched out a bit. The Hutchinson Acrobat City tire brings all of Hutchinson's know how and engineering to those of you who prefer a casual Sunday ride or a quick jaunt across town. They're designed to be puncture resistant, grip well and roll fast. What more could you ask for?
Kevlar folding bead helps keep the weight down
Protect Air puncture resistant belt decreases your chances of getting a flat
Knobby, ridged tread gives you plenty of grip, especially in the corners
Low profile center tread reduces rolling resistance
Bought this to replace the rear tire on my Nashbar cyclocross bike that came with Kenda 700x30c tires. The Hutchinson rides very smooth on asphalt and the 32 width seems to float better on loose gravel than the Kenda. The ride is definitely more comfortable all around without noticeable sacrifice in speed. I will replace the front with the same tire when the Kenda wears out.
