If you have a Race Face Cadence X-type crankset, you need the X-Type bottom bracket. It's been machined from high-strength alloy to be stiff and lightweight, and uses twice the number of ball bearings than most other comparable systems.
Forged and CNC machined high strength alloy is stiff and lightweight
Tapered wall construction keeps the weight low
Double sealed cartridge bearings keep grease in and grime out
Full-complememnt construction doubles the number of ball bearings
Interchangeable with Shimano's older Dura Ace and Ultegra systems
Comments about RaceFace Race Face Cadence X-Type Bottom Bracket:
My Pedro's installation tool would not fit the cups. The ridges are spaced correctly but the outside diameter of the cups is too big. I modified the tool with my bench grinder and Moto-tool to make it fit. A lot of extra work. I would suspect this model has bean discontinued.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
