Comments about Louis Garneau Endurexx Tights:

Viking tights fit just right and do act as a sunblock. They are not too hot for the hot days and the are warm enough for the cooler mornings. The Elaine is right for me being 5 foot 9 inches and material has a held its form through the the week since I purchased the biking tights.

Comments about Louis Garneau Endurexx Tights:

Your basic no frills compression tights. Can't speak of the durability yet, but every other piece of Garneau clothing I have has not failed yet with much use.

I'm 6'2" and wear 32x36 pants, with lean features. The medium fit me fine with a good amount of compression across the entire tight, and sit just about 1" above the ankle while in a riding position. Great for me as I usually have a hard time finding a long enough inseam, so if you are also tall no problems there.

I wear these over padded shorts on the road, and under baggies on the trails. When over the shorts, they do creep down a bit in the back waist, requiring the occasional hitch-up, but they also don't ever slip low enough to be uncomfortable. You can feel them in the back of the knees while spinning (though not actually bunching up), but in my experience this is common with side-seam tights (as opposed to ones with a tubular mid-leg panel).

These are my 40-55F tights; any colder I wear Nashbar Mansfields, and any warmer just shorts. For me, they serve the purpose in this temp range.

All in all, a good basic set of cool weather tights. Grab them during one of the sales, and they are an even better deal. So far, I'm satisfied with them.

Comments about Louis Garneau Endurexx Tights:

Fit quite tight, so they stay in place.

Long in leg, so they cover my ankles (good).

Not overly insulating, so I can handle hot weather with them. Good thing, because I needed them to block sunlight.

      • Wsilk Long Johns Under

Comments about Louis Garneau Endurexx Tights:

These are very snug and the large seems extra long in the foot but that's a good thing because you can pull them up and have plenty of room to hug the ankle.

They are better to have Terramar silk long johns underneath.

The aren't made for winter, even with silk long johns and GoreBike pants over it. Best used for Early to Late Fall.

I like these but the one con is very annoying. They have tight bunching ripples behind your knee on every pedal stroke.

I do 60-mile road rides. Therefore, I use two pads, for comfort. I was disappointed that these tights have no pad.
