Comments about SUNRingle Sun Ringle Rhyno Lite / Shimano Deore 525 29" Mountain Wheelset:
Great wheel set, the shimano hubs are very nice and seals are inside of both locknuts, the QR lever is offst so when you tighten/loosen the nut on the opposite side the lever catches on the fork, and allows one hand tightening, versus having to hold the lever to keep it from spinning while you tighen the nut. The rims are black and take the presta tubes. I just got new tubes since I did not want to weaken the rim by drilling a larger hole for my old tubes. I got a pair of blue plastic 29' x 25 mm rim strips from an online retailer and they fit perfect. Why doesn't Nashbar have them? Any way, very durable wheels at a great price! I had a wheel with a 7sp freewheel, for this wheel put on a SRAM 8sp cassette and just adjusted the rear derailer stops so that it did not use the highest gear (11 tooth) and it works good with my old shimano 7sp rapid fire shifter and original chain. And both wheels were dead on center for my frame, so no spoke adjustment needed!!!
