Topeak JoeBlow Max II Floor Pump
Living without a floor pump is literally living on the skid-row of cycling existences. They're fast, convenient, their pressure gauges are awesome--well, at least if you have a good one. That's where the Topeak Joe Blow Max II comes in. It's sturdy, it fits either Presta or Schrader valves, it has a comfortable padded handle, an extra long hose, and can get you to 120 psi in about 10 seconds...oh, and it comes in red exclusively at Nashbar.
  • Ball bladder heads work with both Presta and Schrader valves
  • Extra long hose...once you have one, you'll never go back
  • Oversize padded handle gives you extra leverage
  • Gauge: Base Mount Analog--super accurate
  • Capacity: 120 psi, perfect for road and mountain tires
  • Painted steel barrel is extra durable

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Max II Floor Pump:

After having several Schrader/Presta interchangeable pumps where some of the parts were lost changing from one style to the other, I opted for this model after seeing it in a local bike shop. With the others, you have to get the parts just right and hope you don't drop any where they roll into the grass or get broken/bent by not changing the parts correctly. You just choose the side you need based on the valve and the clamp holds it tight. The only problem is I have to definitely stand over the pump to force air into my tubes - no pumping while on my knees like I can do with some other pumps.

It does come with ball/bladder valves as well but I just keep these attached in the plastic storage case.

I have low pressure and high pressure tires, great for both. You don't have to change the head just hook up and pump.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Max II Floor Pump:

A very good product from a reputable cycling brand. Very easy to use and the Twin Head is durable. Seems like it will last a long time.

Not a good tool to use to inflate a large volume object such as an air mattress, large beach balls, etc. (takes forever to finish!)
