Commuting or Touring with a good trunk bag is one of the great joys of cycling...and the Nashbar Rack Trunk is one roomy and user friendly bag. It mounts easily to your bike rack with hook and loop straps and it's made of 600 denier nylon which is resistant to tearing, scuffing, ripping, puncturing, and water, plus it's lined with EDF backing for added water resistance. In extreme cases, there's always the rain cover which will totally waterproof your stuff. The large main compartment has a mesh pocket on one end for keys, phone, or iPod. A large lid compartment with shielded zipper adds a bunch of capacity.

After awhile this tends to lose its shape and slouch to one side. The stiffening material is not stiff enough. It still works but doesn't look very good. I got this to replace another bag that got eaten by mice. The other one held its shape. I think that one was a Topeak, but more expensive. It serves a function if you don't mind it slouching to one side.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
