Comments about Ascent Corso Road Helmet:

I purchased this helmet to replace one that was pretty old and beat up after years of use. I ride a hybrid bike and fit between casual and avid levels of activity, so I wanted something that looked halfway decent, fit well, kept my head cool, and hopefully protected my melon in case I took a dive. This helmet was very well-priced and, short of protecting my head (which I hope never to find out), it does everything else well.

Comments about Ascent Corso Road Helmet:

Would have given it a five star rating if it had a visor/shade.

Best ventilated helmet I own. Great for summer riding - providing I don't end up with a peculiarly patterned sunburn!

No complaints. Great helmet. Does the job. I'm a girl, was worried about size. S/M is good for me.

Comments about Ascent Corso Road Helmet:

The med/large fits well. (I even ordered another one for my wife) pleasantly surprised how lightweight it is. Straps adjust well. Fits my shaved head well. No hot spots. My wife's ponytail feeds well through the back. We have vastly different jaw bones and the straps do a good job adjusting quickly and easily without rubbing. Felt pads could be a tad thicker. They are easy to unvelcro and wash. Nice buy for the price.

Comments about Ascent Corso Road Helmet:

Last helmet was a cheap department store one that has served its purpose. So for me to compare this, it's much lighter, more well-ventilated, and adjustable at the back. However, the strap placement at the back seems a little off, and catches my ears without some fiddling. Once in place, they don't bother me too much, so I'm pretty happy.
