WTB Moto AM TCS is like bringing a gun to a knife fight. This is 26 inches of quality Dual DNA rubber so your centerline tread features a firmer rubber compound fir lightning fast rolling along with ridiculous durability. The side knobs are composed of softer, slower-rebounding rubber so your control and grip are there for you whether you're cornering, climbing, breaking away, or bombing some nutty downhill. Plus, WTB threw in an Inner Peace sidewall reinforcement to this beefy 2.3" wide monster to keep you on the trail where you want to be.
Folding UST aramid bead with 60 tpi casing is supple, strong, and flat resistant
Dual DNA rubber adds efficiency, reduces drag, and digs in like a set of claws
Inner Peace sidewall reinforcement reduces damage, punctures, and pinch flats
Dense, low profile tread rolls fast and provides stable cornering
Comments about Wilderness Trail Bikes WTB Moto AM TCS Mountain Tire - 26":
In the mud, the aggressive tread flogs too much spray, but does well in hardpack dry fire roads of southern California. I'm using this on the rear wheel, and find that it has very good traction while climbing.
Cornering though, you can feel the outer knobs sort of sponge into the tire itself - and is a weird feeling. I'm getting used to that, but haven't felt like I was loosing control. Yet I am not that aggressive on the downhill, so at slower speeds, traction is automatic. If you're a dive bomber this could get you much more nervous.
