      Comments about Nashbar Chain Whip:

Bought this along with a Nasbar locking tool to replace a cassette on my old Marin Pine Mountain. Worked flawlessly for a fraction of the cost of other brands; took me less than 15 minutes to get the job done. I've got a 1x project for my MTB coming up and the need of a new cassette on my roadie, so the small amount I paid is money well spent.

Not quite as heavy as a Park Tool, but hey, it's half the price and gets the job done. No real complaints after a couple of uses. Just fine for a home mechanic.

great tool for the price. this combined with the wrench makes switching out cassettes easy. the price of both is cheaper than one time change out at a bike shop.

            Comments about Nashbar Chain Whip:

I bought this as a 2nd whip to use for removing old freewheels. I already own a nice Park chain whip so I picked the Nashbar whip because the price was right and figured it would suffice as a 2nd whip.

Well, it seems to work okay for what I need but it is noticeably cheaper and flimsier than the Part whip. Not sure I'd want to use it as my primary chain whip though.
