The "City Box Pannier" is made of highly-resilient thermoformed ABS shatterproof plastic. The hinged lid opens on one side and the lid's locking mechanism comes complete with two keys to keep your stuff safe. The case's outer surface is protected by a pair of rubber "rub rails" to prevent marks and scratches. A quick-release retention mechanism on the back of the box allows for fast latching onto most standard rear racks with 7mm to 10mm upper rails. The City Box includes a pop-up grab handle for easy carrying off the bike. The interior walls and floor of the City Box are fully-lined with a removable padded insert providing insulation.
