    Comments about Nashbar Ares Sunglass:

I just (2015) bought my third pair over the course of about 10 years. Lightweight and comfortable. The only reason I've had to replace them is because the rubber boots on the ends of the frame arms eventually comes loose or get worn through. Someone else commented about the rubber nose pads detaching, and that occurred in one pair after much use and sweat. a dab of my son's model cement remedied this, and kept the glasses in service. Because I flex the frames at their center when I wear them on top of my ball cap when indoors, the center of the grey lens on one pair snapped when I was cleaning it (again, after years of service). Luckily I'd kept the lenses from my previous pair as backup, and the replacement kept the frames in service for a couple additional years.

Very light, I like the multiple lenses. Easy to swap lenses and the stay in once installed. Maybe a bit crooked but it could just be me.

        Comments about Nashbar Ares Sunglass:

I've tried many sunglasses in the $20-$50 range. These are the best I've found in that range. They are not your $80 or Mau Jim of course, but for the money they are the best I've found. I'm most impressed with the clarity of the lenses. And happy that the yellow lens is high contrast. That's getting harder to find.

          Comments about Nashbar Ares Sunglass:

My first pair of cycling glasses. My prescription ones didn't cover enough and actually channeled wind into my eyes. These are large enough to prevent that. I have a high bridge so on a normal person the lens would cover a larger area. For me they are large enough to prevent the unwanted wind but would of liked a larger lens. They fit well for my 7 1/8" head and are very light weight. Without prescriptions the dark lens was too dark in afternoon light( things were fuzzy) so I will try the yellow or clear next time.

            Comments about Nashbar Ares Sunglass:

I now have two pair of these. I bought the first about 10 years ago and I'm still using them. Just as comfortable as my Oakley m-frames, but not as sturdy. If you take care off them they will last a long time. The thing I like the best is the fit. They don't slip on me at all, but they also don't smash my head or cause headaches. I am 6'2" and 180 lbs. I would say these would fit most grown men. Would be loose if you have a small head.

              Comments about Nashbar Ares Sunglass:

I have three pairs of these glasses, one for daily car driving, mt biking, & a spare. They fix great under the helmet and they are very light weight. They are worth the price and they look good. I have non-bike riders who like my glasses so much they have bought some from Nashbar. As long as they keep making these glasses I will continue telling others about them and buying them for my self (when I loss them).
I have even put on the clear lens when it starting raining on while in the woods. They really do provide protection from stuff getting it your eyes while on the trails.

These are very lightweight glasses - which is great. They don't dig into your head on long rides. I also like the ability to change lenses. I haven't had them long enought to know how durable they are.

                    Comments about Nashbar Ares Sunglass:

i have owned several pairs over the years -i bought multiple sets on sale. They are comfortable and lightweight and fit me well. Grey lense is just right most days and i use the yellow and clear lenses for night riding to keep stuff out of my eyes. By big beef is that the nose pads tend to pop off the frames, getting lost and rendering the glasses useless.
