Retro looks, not quite retro quality

        Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

Retro style points. Seems well made. The palm has good grip but has a plastic, somewhat inflexible feel. (Not super comfortable between the thumb and index finger.) Not pig skin like the ones I had back in the day. But then these probably handle water better. Overall these are decent but not great. Good value for the money.

Very good gloves, especially for the price.
The higher cost nylon gloves look flimsy compared to these.

            Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

The reviews were decent so I ordered them, I can usually wear a men's small glove and my husband can usually wear a men's medium or larger. The small a were more like a medium and the mediums were about the same size, maybe a little bit larger than the smalls. Regardless of that the padding seems thin and doesn't cover any of the thumb area. They were returned

                Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

I've had these for several months now. The gloves started with little padding and in a short time had none, whatsoever. I try to be frugal with my purchases and don't need the to own the top brands, but for me this was false economy.

These gloves are like the first cycling gloves that I ever purchased back in the 70s. They are super comfortable, hold up pretty well and great for wiping off sweat. Even if they won't last forever, these gloves are a great value for the money.
