      Comments about Nashbar Reader Rack:

Well made product Could be deeper for this who still read old-fashioned books rather than on smartphones, Kindles, iPads, etc. Description reads, "Mounts easily to almost every bike out there." From other reviews and my experience, not accurate. However, that being said, put the attachment thingee out to pasture and use 3 - 4 wire ties in its place, and you're good to go. The attachment design needs to be rethought since, even if you have the perfect bar, it appears the attachment wouldn't be too secure.

      Comments about Nashbar Reader Rack:

I use this on my training bike to hold TV controllers, phone, iPad etc. I like most of the unit is solid. I do not like how it attaches to the bike. This is it weakest point. After many attempts, some electrical tape around my handlebar parts, I was able to get the unit to stay on. I would not trust it with a book however. Light items are OK. I may be able to figure something else out. I think another review talked about jamming a piece of wood though the section that hangs below the handle bar. Other than that, it works and does what it is advertised.

excellent rack for ipad or book on my indoor mounted bike but required velcro straps to secure it. What came with it did not work for me.

This is a well-constructed reading material holder that attaches easily to my flat-bar handlebars on a Specialized Sirrus. Attachment to the bike took all of thirty seconds. It holds my books or magazines securely.

              Comments about Nashbar Reader Rack:

There are a lot of different products on the market for using your ipad or ereader while on the trainer. Those products are expensive. This is the perfect inexpensive solution to my boredom while cycling in my garage.

                Comments about Nashbar Reader Rack:

I bought this bike to put on my mountain bike I keep on a trainer in the winter. I only use it for my iPad. Fits my mountain bike just fine, however the hand tightening system lacks a little bit. Could slip on smaller stems, but could also be compensated for with zip ties. You should keep your front wheel in a riser block when on the trainer to help keep any wobble to a minimum, making it easier to read while riding.

                  Comments about Nashbar Reader Rack:

The reader rack work perfectly with a stationary bike. It took a second to put on. It seems very stable. I still have plenty of room between the rack and the handlebars for my hands. It certainly makes riding a stationary bike not as boring when you can read at the same time.
