      Comments about Nashbar Bike Bro:

The cover is very tight and it has to be stretched a lot to fit over my bike. It is actually tight enough that it pulls my brake handles tight. For this reason I don't feel like it will last very long, but only time will tell.

On a Yakima forklift there is nothing on the locking skewer at the fork to attach the cover to on one side. The velcro straps that are meant to attach to the quick skewer at the fork are not long enough to wrap around factory/aero bars. I can see that if you had traditional round/square bars you could potential wrap the straps around those instead of the front quick skewer, but on factory/aero bars this won't work.

I had to rig up another attachment method that seemed to work ok.

The cover does block bugs well. The price is much more reasonable than other products I've seen.

        Comments about Nashbar Bike Bro:

I'm using this on a roof mounted rack where the wheel stays on the bike. It does not work as well as it would in a rack where the front tire was removed, but it is still very effective in keeping the bike clean. The only thing that isn't covered is the entire fork. Being nylon anything sharp can affect this including the hook end of the Velcro in the washer. This probably won't last all that long, but it's cheap enough that I'd buy another when this one is completely finished.

          Comments about Nashbar Bike Bro:

These work well and hold on tightly at nearly 90mph. Drove a couple of thousands les with these on and they keeps many, many bugs off. The only issue is that they do not wrap completely around the forks on a mountain bike. That addition would make them a five star item.

Covers were easy to install. Easily fit two different sized bikes. Material is easy to stretch yet not so much so that it would not return to shape after use. Great to keep the bug guts off of handle bars and seats. Excellent product.

              Comments about Nashbar Bike Bro:

Bugs! The bikes were totally clean after the drive from SF to the OC, but the covers were a mess of dried up dead bugs. Nice not to have to clean off the bikes! We just tossed the covers in the wash and hung them to dry, ready for the trip back. After putting them on for the first time, they go up incredibly fast. Well engineered good stuff, and certainly gets some good looks from cyclists when on top of the car.

              RECOMMENDATIONS:
              1. Make sure the pocket that goes over the seat is well fitted before taking off -- check all sides. We have smaller bikes (50-52cm) so it was more of a consideration. Bigger bikes will stretch and fit without much concern. After I figured it out, it was no problem.

              2. Secure velcro to it's intended mated strip BEFORE putting it in the wash, or it will end up a jumbled mess. No biggie, but takes a bit more time to untangle when you don't

              Comments about Nashbar Bike Bro:

Works great so far. I have the road bike model and the lycra allows it to fit the bike like a glove (I have a 56 cm frame). The cover stays put on the interstate and doesn't flap or make excessive noise. Velcro straps secure the cover around the fork crown/head tube area and at the fork mount quick release. As noted in another review this product is not intended for upright carriers.

This product might not fit older style brake levers/shifters with external cable routing that well.

                  Comments about Nashbar Bike Bro:

I've only used it once so far and was well satisfied. Installed easily even though I have Ergon grips, bell, large speedo and mirror. Had to work around mirror. I use it with full stand up rack in the back of a pickup. Bars, seat and part of frame stand above top of truck. Works good even though my front wheel is still on bike. I use the plentiful straps to strap it down to a front rack.
If I didn't have a front rack I'd go through the fork or around the wheel. Works
fine for me and most of my road time is at interstate speeds.I was surprised at the amount of bugs and stuff it collected. GOOD not on the bike. Time will tell on how well it holds up.

Great product but won't work if you use a car top rack where the front wheel stays on the bike. Sure wish they offered one like that!

This is a must have if you put the bike on top of you car and travel long distances. I take many road trips and this keeps most of the muck off and the bugs. It drys fast after going through rain storms. Easy to wash.
