Comments about Nashbar Crimp-On Cable Ends:

These are a must-have finishing touch to derailleur cables. Note that brake cables are slightly larger. I have used the brake cable ends on derailleur cables, and they do not work as well (slip off). These do not cost much, and there are enough to split with a friend. Think you are ok with the end of your cable fraying? Well you are not; get these!

These are sized smaller then the typical ones that Shimano puts out, so I use them on Derailer Cables; seems to look better and are unique.

Comments about Nashbar Crimp-On Cable Ends:

The deraileur model will fit both the 4mm deraileur and 5mm brake cables. I tested it (Microshift shifters came with two) on Shimano stainless cables first to confirm. It is a better and neater looking/fit. No need to have two different cans laying around. I wish this was less expensive since the bottle/container that they came in are only ~1/5 full.

Comments about Nashbar Crimp-On Cable Ends:

I go through a lot of these, and I got tired of constantly begging bike shops for some. I haven't had any problem with them rusting or with coming off if they are properly crimped on. They are made in Taiwan.
