Replaced worn out grips on an old Mtn. bike. Terrific! Better than what came on my new upgraded bike. Proof you don't have to pay a lot.

Comfortable grips. Haven't used long enough to speak for durability. Easy to install. Only complaint would be that they are about 5mm shorter then the grips I replaced.

      Comments about Nashbar Gel Grips:

For an ergo grip there is not much ergo to them. The pad for your palm is small and the material seems to be quite stiff. The grips also have a hard end cap which makes it very hard to adjust the grip position once they are installed, so I cut that off the first thing. They are adequate but not outstanding in the comfort dept.

I have several bicycles. They are all geared towards comfort. I have herniated discs and find the less jarring of my hands the less 'pain in the neck'!

I used these for about a year, before the surfaces became sticky. I would not recommend buying these.
