      Comments about Nashbar 300mm Seatpost:

This seatpost fit my mountain bike just right, almost was too short but it works, now that I got a new saddle, I decided to get a new seatpost cause the one I had was too heavy (Bontrager ssr), it was very easy to adjust.

      Comments about Nashbar 300mm Seatpost:

Setting the seat angle is limited by the number of notches, but the notches do keep the adjustment in place while the binder bolt is tightened.

Great buy for the price. Some troubles with Customer service but resolved w/o problem. Sent the wrong size at first had to return. They tried to charge me for the shipping back but when I explained the Tech Service suggested the size they credited me.

            Comments about Nashbar 300mm Seatpost:

Put this on a single speed franken-bike I put together, and pulled it off to use on my "good" bike to resolve a problem with a name brand seatpost. Now this is my go-to seat post when I replace or have issues with any other seatpost. Adjusts very easily, very stiff. No creaks or popping under heavy use. Don't let price fool you, you won't get better for twice the coin.

              Comments about Nashbar 300mm Seatpost:

I needed a very short 27.2mm post for the stoker (back seat) on my Cannondale tandem. My 7-year old son grew enough over the winter that he could actually reach the pedals comfortably if I could lower the seat nearly to the bottom.

The stock seatpost is a suspension model, and you automatically lose 4-inches of length to the suspension part. The other challenge is one of the water bottle braze-ons keeps a longer seat post from sliding down into the frame all the way.

The short length of this post allowed me to set the seat height super low, and now I have a new riding buddy on those days when my wife doesn't want to come along.

The 1-bolt head on this post adjusts easily and securely.

[...] It was much cheaper than its equivalent products at my local bike shops. It works great in my mid-eighties japanese road bike.

Great seat post overall. I ride here on the rough roads of idaho and it absorbs more of the rough road than a typical steel seat post (which is what i had) not to mention it just looks good and for the price its a deal. don't have anyhting bad to say about after having it for 6 months now with constant riding throughout the week ...ride on
