Threads stripped in the crank arm and now pedal (non-drivetrain side) doesn't fit anymore. Disappointed. Next time I'm getting a better one.

Comments about Nashbar MT2 Mountain Bike Crankset:

I just got these cranks and have yet to install. I am waiting on an ISIS bottom bracket. That said, the cranks are very lightweight and look great. They will match my Giant DS3 Warp perfectly. I am anxious to get them installed and start hammering the trails. With the cranks the only original parts on my bike will be the frame (that I love), headset, seat post and handlebars but the winter will come and I will need something to do. Really though once these cranks are on, I will have the bike I wanted when I purchased my Giant in 2003 and still cheaper than the DS1 Warp with better components than it was in 2003. Although most reviews say ISIS BB's wear out quickly, I am willing to try it. I have 13 years on my original square shimonoseki BB and I'll take half the from my ISIS.

This crank has performed flawlessly in a 1X9 system on a Kona Honzo. Where else but Nashbar can one procure a quality crankset for the price of the outer ring on an "S" brand product.

Comments about Nashbar MT2 Mountain Bike Crankset:

Combined with The Nashbar BB, fitment was perfect. Both outer chain rings are aluminium with only the small inner being steel which I've never seen at this price point. I usually don't write reviews even if I am pleased with a purchase. But the Nashbar product deserves to have something said about it.

Comments about Nashbar MT2 Mountain Bike Crankset:

This is a good product. I been using the crank for three weeks and it worked great I can't believe it is that good and for the price too. I am going to buy an extra one maybe to replace my XTR. I went on a trail by Lake Hodges next to the lake. The trail was full of big rock the size of small watermelons. The crank works fine. I am glad I bought it.

I have ridden this crankset in rain, snow and sun over 2000 miles and it has worked flawlessly. Fit perfectly on the nashbar ISIS bottom bracket installed on my Surly LHT. Only con so far is the black finish on the crank arms show scratches where they have been hit against curbs.

Comments about Nashbar MT2 Mountain Bike Crankset:

The chainrings were nice lightweight aluminum --- BUT I couldn't get them to fit my Shimano FC-M442 crank! The 104mm bolt circle diameter was correct, but the innermost edge of the middle chainring has a diameter of 88mm: 2mm less than its "seat" on the crank.
