OK shorts

Comments about Nashbar Isolation Shorts:

These shorts are cut a bit low in the back. Some of my shorter jerseys don't cover the waist band in back. They are comfortable and otherwise OK.

I have three pairs of these and they serve well for a 7-mile commute. Excellent value. Wearing well. I also have a pair of Nashbar Cabot shorts and prefer these while not understanding the difference, if there is one.

5'6", low 130s, and Small fits well.

I needed new bike shorts for indoor cycling class and didn't want to spend too much money. These shorts are inexpensive, comfortable, and perform well. I'm concerned that they may wear out quickly, but so far they're holding up nicely. Arrived ahead of expected shipping date.

              Comments about Nashbar Isolation Shorts:

Was trying to find new shorts after getting back in to cycling after 10 years. Loved the old style Nashbar 8 panel shorts with chamois pad. Tied these but was disappointed with the fit, the length in the back and the bulky pad. Emailed Nashbar customer support and they recommend the Louis Garneau Pro Max 2 (thanks Nashbar). I ordered a pair size XL for a 37 inch waist. They are actually 9 panel and have a great pad. Night and day between the two shorts. I returned the Nashbar shorts and ordered a second pair of LG's.

                  Comments about Nashbar Isolation Shorts:

This is the first pair of cycling shorts I've bought in about 20 years so maybe I was expecting more than I should have. I am 40 years old, 6'2" tall and weigh 175lbs. I have skinny legs. I normally wear a 33" waist so according to the sizing guide I was a Medium. The shorts fit in the waist but the length from crotch to waist is quite short to the point where when I'm riding, even with a cycling jersey, I feel like the motoring public is getting more of an eyeful than they bargained for. They're not so bad that I'm going to return them. I'll just use them under regular shorts when I take the kids out for casual rides. I'll research and see if I can find something that will fit better. As far as comfort goes, the padding is good and I'd say a bargain for the price. The grippy stuff at the bottom of the leg keeps the shorts from riding up.

                    Comments about Nashbar Isolation Shorts:

Have three pairs in daily rotation. Drawstring falls out in the wash. The drawstring isn't really necessary to keep them in place so I just threw it out. Medium fits me very well. I'm 6 foot and 170 approx. with a 34 true waist (32 Levis 501s). They wash nicely and always look clean. After the 3rd wash or so the Nashbar logo comes off. I don't care about that, so...
