Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Tool Windstopper Gloves:

The lining inside is not attached to the fingertips, so be careful when pulling these off. They are very warm, but the sweat from your hands makes the lining very damp, almost wet. If you wear a thin liner, order a large for sure. The silicon grippers on the fingers and palm are great. I would buy these again.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Tool Windstopper Gloves:

Curved design to fit properly when gripping handlebar, but then tight when flatten palm, so buy next size up or will feel tight when not gripping. Not for really cold weather. Otherwise, really nice gloves.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Tool Windstopper Gloves:

I owned a previous GORE Bike Wear gloves, but this "model" has been updated with palm-side padding to make for much more comfortable long, and otherwise cold outdoor rides. I customarily do solid hour to two hour rides and given the freezing winter it's been on the East Coast (NYC) I needed something to keep those finger tips in particular warm. The design technology is actually pretty amazing as these definitely don't make great walking winter gloves but when cycling keep the warmth in without getting moist with sweat. I would definitely recommend these for temperatures freezing and above - and they're definitely good for windy conditions, though you may need an inner liner glove for below freezing temperatures - or another type of glove altogether.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Tool Windstopper Gloves:

I use these for mountain biking below 45 degrees F. I exchanged another pair for these. But they are not 100% windproof. I thought when a product says windproof, it is windPROOF. Not sure how they can say this when it is NOT. My finger tips and thumb gets cold. But after a bit a downhill riding, they do actually warm up relatively quick compared to others I've tried. As long as you stay between 10 and 15mph, they should be OK...
