Nobody does aluminum like Easton. 'Nuff said. If you're looking to class up your cockpit, treat your bike to one of these snazzy seatposts.
  • This lightweight bike seatpost shaves grams, while providing you with easy saddle adjustments
  • EA70 TaperWall aluminum reduces weight by adding strength where you need it, not where you don't
  • 2-bolt head for easy saddle adjustments

Comments about Easton EA70 Zero Offset Seatpost - Closeout:

Got this on sale to get my most recent road bike build together quickly (the carbon Nashbar post was on backorder.) After having switched from an aluminum seatpost to carbon on my steel framed bike, I know that carbon can tame more road vibration than Al. Well, maybe it's just the fact that I am riding a carbon bike now, but honestly, this aluminum post isn't too harsh!

And it looks really nice on the bike. The way the head of the seatpost transitions seamlessly into the post really looks slick.

The weight specs speak for themselves--it's a light seatpost. I don't know that I'd use this for a MTB or something that takes a lot of abuse, but it's quite capable for a road bike.

When I finally got the carbon seatpost I wanted, I put it on, and I don't really feel much difference in ride comfort. Again, it may be more noticeable on a steel or aluminum framed bike, but I may go back to the lighter and sexier EA70 post on my carbon bike.

I'm 6'3" 195 lbs, riding an all carbon LeMond Buenos Aires. I don't compete, but I ride at a quicker pace than most rec riders and like to torture myself a little bit every time I go out.
