Comments about Garmin Edge 800 GPS Bundle with City Navigation:

Avid to competitive cyclist wannabee. Edge800 is a great tool box to assist with training performance. To be able to upload course to it and see progress along route is like having a coach next to you. Has all the cycling features like cadence, HR, speed, grade, and cal but also is a city GPS. Existing ant+ gears works so haven't used included accs. Diplay fields should have been customizable. Works in the car too.

Comments about Garmin Edge 800 GPS Bundle with City Navigation:

Great navigation unit and bike/training computer. Works well so far. Very versitle in terms of compatibly with multiple ANT+ devices at one time. Love the feature of having multiple bike setups entered into unit, makes for incredibly easy transferring from one bike to another. Garmin Connect is by far the easiest and most informative ride tracking service I have used. I was blown away by the services create a route feature... very intuitive.

Drawback include the price. At anywhere from $300-$500 for the unit alone it is one of the priciest computers out there, but there's a reason for that. Don't expect the quickest learning curve wiht this device either. It is so customizable that it is a bit of sensory overload right out of the gate. The actual in ride navigation is pretty awesome but there is something a little off with the display of route. Hard to put my finger on it, but seriously now I am just nit picking to come up with a few drawbacks.

Really a great unit if you are able to spend the money and have the desire to track pretty much everything about your ride.

Comments about Garmin Edge 800 GPS Bundle with City Navigation:

Easy set up and installation. Detected speed, cadence and heart rate right off the bat. Lends itself to exploring since you can take roads you don't know but always have it set to guide you home. Navi recalculates quickly and interrupts the main data screen when a turn is upon you.

Data uploads easily and can be shared in a snap.
