These gloves are too tight but there is a work-around. Cut the expansion material and throw it away. They fit acceptably this way.

These gloves are very comfy and fit well. They are a lot easier pulling onto my hands then my previous gloves which claim to be large however they felt like mediums. problem with all biking gloves I think. These are nice and comfy. Good Job Nashbar.....

Bought 2 pairs. After 3 uses, the stitching came undone in one glove. Cushioning is no better than non-gel gloves.

Comments about Nashbar Gel Max Gloves:

The "slip-on" design make them hard to take off and put on. In either case, there's nothing to hold on to. Instead of a velcro strip to hold them on, there is just elastic. Since you have to pinch the elastic with your fingers to pull them on and the same with the finger holds to get them off, I don't expect their life will be great.

Comments about Nashbar Gel Max Gloves:

I used the size chart provided and ended up with large gloves that are too tight and hard to put on and take off. They may expand a bit with use and become very comfortable as a similar pair of gloves once did. I would recommend buying one size larger. My last pair of gloves had a velcro closure on the top and they have spoiled me as that is a superior way to make bike gloves, IMHO.

Comments about Nashbar Gel Max Gloves:

Mind you these gloves are better than most. But the holes start enlarging pretty rapidly and I expect the gloves to wear out fairly fast. But I like them none-the-less.

I cycle 12 miles every morning before breakfast. I like the gloves, but my hands are large and these, like all XL gloves, just fit but a tad bit tight but eventually work in to be comfortable. Would love to see someone make XXL gloves.

Comments about Nashbar Gel Max Gloves:

I have searched far and wide for gloves that have great padding. very hard to find. internet photos of gloves make padding look much better than what it is. I have bought these gloves before & got them for my girlfriend this time. for the life of me I can t understand why they no longer have Velcro strap closure. having to pull them on puts stress on the material and causes tearing. had to have my theatre wardrobe dept.cut opening & customize a Velcro closure. much better now. hey Bike Nashbar remake these with a Velcro closure and don t chinch on the padding. so far these are beefy-er than any others I could find
