I commute to and from work on my road bike. It was time for new tires and I wanted more durable tires. I was not sure of what I would be getting at this price. Very happy with the purchase! Thank you for a great product at a low price.

This is my second set of Nashbar pro's original set were still going strong until both were damaged road debris never had a flat until then. These tires are not the lightest tires on the market but they are fast and durable very easy to mount

Comments about Nashbar Duro Pro Road Tire:

Wears like iron! Very flat resistant. The 700 X 25 really weighs 272 grams. I'm 200lbs, 85 psi frt, 115 psi rear, they ride nice, I've ridden RAGBRAI 2 times on them, no flats, I've been over 42 MPH, NEVER any traction problems. Sport touring or a training tire you don't have to worry about. I have these on 3 bikes - Of Course I recommend them! I really hope Nashbar doesn't change these tires. I just got 2 more just to keep on the shelf.

Just put the tires on my bike, smooth ride. Had a pinch flat the first ride, my bad on the install. On the same ride three others had puncture flats from road debris, not me. Good so far, I only gave 4 stars because I don't have a lot of miles on these tires. Let's see what what happens in a couple of months.

I've ridden more than a 1000 miles, with this tire on the rear of my bike, and have yet to have a flat. It feels like a very durable tire, that let me spend more time riding, instead of fixing flats. I like that!

Comments about Nashbar Duro Pro Road Tire:

So far so good - a few hundred miles in and the Duro Pros have proven to be a great compromise - ride quality (25 mm at 115 psi), rolling resistance, weight, and durability (lots of sharp gravel on the sides of the roads that I have to ride). Wear characteristics and durability are far superior to other inexpensive tires, yet I've noticed no lack of traction - or loss of confidence - cornering, hitting hot pavement, or coming into contact with water.

Comments about Nashbar Duro Pro Road Tire:

Long lasting, flat resistant, economical tires. Handle well in the rain. Stronger sidewalks than many of the pricier brand names. I average 6000 miles per set in all weather conditions with very few flats. All you really need! Not the lightest tires on the market but more than worth the few extra grams for the flat resistance and sidewall superiority.
