Comments about Nashbar Mountain Lock-On Grips:

As others have stated, the grips are too thin and too hard. I actually blistered my palm, despite wearing gloves, after 2 rides with these grips totaling 4 hours. Install is easy and they look good, but they just aren't comfortable.

Comments about Nashbar Mountain Lock-On Grips:

They grip the bar tightly. Screw are accessibe. They have a nice texture but arent very thick, so if you have big hands I'd avoid them.

Comments about Nashbar Mountain Lock-On Grips:

Great replacements to my original Giant grips. Super easy to install...no more glue. They are a bit on the hard side, but I knew that before purchasing from other reviewers. I was already used to hard grips and used these for a 3 hour mountain bike race a couple weeks ago - worked great.

Comments about Nashbar Mountain Lock-On Grips:

Nice economical grips. They are hard but that's what gloves are for.
The plastic end pieces are not to tough. One drop or fall and they tear up pretty easy. This doesn't effect handling.

Comments about Nashbar Mountain Lock-On Grips:

These install easily and stay put. They provide good grip but are very hard and uncomfortable. My hands ache after riding these for any period of time.
They are still on my bike and it is not an emergency to have them switched out immediately.
