Nashbar Thermal Arm Warmers
Cyclists are not known for having the most robust of arms. So when the temps go down, it's important to keep them warm. The Nashbar Thermal Arm Warmers make it easy to take the freeze out of your frail upper appendages without resorting to drastic measures like long sleeve jerseys.
  • Warm fleece backing wicks away moisture and helps retain heat in cold weather
  • Stretchy lycra construction moves with your body to eliminate chaffing or rubbing
  • Silicon upper arm grippers helps the warmers stay in place while you're riding hard

Use when cool in early morning. I bought a large and am 6'3" and 180 lbs. Guess that my biceps are not big enough to keep up

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Arm Warmers:

They were warm enough but the biceps were FAR too loose. I had to return them. I am no body builder but I'm not a wimp either. They just sat there flapping loosely and would not stay up even with jersey sleeves trying to hold them up. Sorry, had to try something else.

These arm warmers run small, which works out very well for people with small arms. They're perfect for cooler rides, but not cold rides. (I ordered the small size.)

Bought these as backups to my older set of Nashbar arm warmers. These seem a little warmer and stay up much better than the older ones do. Definitely recommended!

I ride in any weather condition and to have these warmers is a must have, the weather in the bay area is not that bad, but I still need to stay warm, I use these for the fall and winter months.

Arm warmer size does not contour to my personal arm length when I ordered a large... They seem to keep the chill out on the areas it covers, but next time I'll guess I'll have to order the next size up to make it fit proper...

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Arm Warmers:

We got these for a century ride and loved how they kept us warm during the chilly, windy 100 miles. They didn't fall down and even allowed for a thin, tight, long sleeve base layer. We are both lean. My hubby is 165 lbs 5'9" and wears a medium. I am 5'3 112 lbs and wear a small. We also got the same size in the leg warmers and liked those as well. One note Ladies, the leg warmers won't work as well with a shorter riding short.

Nashbar clothing is great value and comfortable. Sizing for the arm warmers was true and the grippers worked well. Highly recommend

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Arm Warmers:

They say if you don't like the weather today, wait until tomorrow. It's true, and in many times of the year you get wild swings from morning to afternoon. Starting off with a jacket over a jersey works, but it adds bulk when you have to peel it off. The sleeves store much more compact and aren't so bad when you just push them down to your wrists. Compared to the name brands that run $44 a set, these are great! Size medium is right on the mark for me (wearing a medium jersey) and long enough to cover my 35" arms (they don't cover my entire arm, but from just under the short sleeve of my jersey to my wrist - my arms are 35" based on long sleeve dress shirt size preference - judge yourself accordingly)

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Arm Warmers:

I guess the rule of thumb is order the same size as the jersey you would wear but these are way too big up top... bicep area, and I am not a thin guy (6'2 200). So I would recommend ordering a size down.
