Nashbar Thermal Knee Warmers
Fall and spring are a fine line for riding weather, my friend. It's almost impossible to know how to dress for a day that starts cool, gets hot, then gets cold again. Nashbar Thermal Knee Warmers take some of the guess work out of it though. They help protect your knees from the cold and damp without covering your entire leg, so you don't turn into a huge, sweaty mess after the third pedal stroke.
  • Warm fleece backing wicks away moisture and helps retain heat in cold weather
  • Stretchy lycra construction moves with your body to eliminate chaffing or rubbing
  • Silicon grippers on top help the warmers stay in place while you're riding hard

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Knee Warmers:

These are the perfect bridge when it's too cold for shorts only & not quite cold enough for tights. I like wearing knee warmers when it's in the 50s ... 40s & colder, it's time for tights. After wearing these on just a couple of rides on days in the 50s, I wondered how I got along without them for all these years. Keeping my knees and calves warm makes a big difference to me.

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Knee Warmers:

I bought these to pair with the arm warmers I purchased in the same order. They're fine, though I noticed some blistering on my left leg after a long day of use. The blistering was specific to my left leg and was along the outer part of my thigh where the gripper held the piece in place. I've never been a fan of the single band, rubberized gripper too many manufacturers use for garments like this and usually avoid them. I made a mistake with this garment. I now turn down the top of the garment to avoid the blistering I experienced upon its first use.

Bought a couple pairs for junior boys 12-14, they fit well, don't slip, and keep their knees warm while racing. Size small fits both of them quite nicely.

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Knee Warmers:

Ok, I must be honest and say that I was t expecting these to work as well as they did. I bought them as a backup for a far more expensive pair of knee warmers that I have and possibly to use them as an additional layer. To my surprise, they held their own. In fact, they stay in place better than brand name knee warmers. I used them on a very fast group ride, where the starting temperature was around 37 degrees, and I've used them on my commute to work. No complaints here. Anyway, No need for a long review. Just get them. You won't be disappointed.

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Knee Warmers:

Got these for my first century ride. These are the perfect bridge between shorts and tights. Roll up very small when not needed. Just pop in jersey pocket. Only reason not a 5 star is the bottom cuff at calf is a little loose. Band the cost! Crazy good deal.

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Knee Warmers:

Using the fit guide, I went with a small and they fit very well. Grippers do a good job of holding them in place. Little to no slippage. Wore on a sunny morning in lower 50's which rose to about 58 at the end. Comfortable thru out the rid.

just the right amount of knee warmth for cool morning rides. Got up and out on the road by 6:30 am, so these knee warmers used in Northern Wisconsin did the trick.
