Comments about Nashbar Thermal Leg Warmers:

I live in Louisiana and use the thermal leg warmers on cool winter days. The leg warmers are easy to fit into and they keep my legs warm when riding on 45-60 degree days. I believe that they are constructed appropriately to give a true fit, i.e. XL fits extra large, L fits Large, etc. Also, the warmers hold their shape. My major complaint is that I find the zippers are not durable. I have been an avid cyclist for 4 years and I am on my third pair of warmers because the zippers break. During the winter months, riding is far more limited than any other time of the year, due in large part to the rainfall. My riding log indicates that I typically ride between 1/3 to 1/2 as much each month during December, January, and February as I do the rest of the year. This means that my bike apparel use during these months is considerably less than in the spring, summer and fall. Despite the limited use of the leg warmers, I get far longer use out of other clothing such as bike shorts.

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Leg Warmers:

Bought with the arm warmers. These are excellent! Extremely comfortable, as I hardly noticed them, except for the fact that my legs were kept warm on a low-40's, misty, shadowed, early morning SoCal winter ride. Doesn't get better than these, especially for the price.

Feedback from giftee in Rochester, NY indicates they do a great job of making winter rides more enjoyable. These are identical to a pair purchased 3 years ago, and they are still just like new.

I'm 5'11" 170 with a 30" inseam. The medium size I chose fits me well. I definitely notice that these leg warmers make a difference in warding off chills.

Much more convenient than thermal leggings. Easy on & off. Stay in position well. Warm into the mid-30s under thin merino wool base layer. Have used for road and mountain biking as well as jogging. Stay in position well.

I'm 5'8" and based on previous review opted for size S, but these are a bit too tight around the hamstrings.

These leg warmers are true to size for me. Stay in place while riding. And are warm. Haven't ridden them much below 50 degrees. But am happy with them so far.

Comments about Nashbar Thermal Leg Warmers:

I use these when the weather might be changeable, they're less bulky and easier to remove than full tights. Good for 30f - 60f I'd say. Of course you could layer over them for colder days. I use them commuting and for adventure rides, too. They're quite long, which isn't a bad thing, I tuck them under my bib shorts or whatnot. They're warm but not too hot for you average chilly morning at 45 degrees. Comfortable, too. Feels nice on the skin.
