Great Stem. I have it installed on a Wabi Cycles fixed gear bike and it does it's job well. Stiff, reasonably light, and a fabulous price, especially if purchased on sale or with a coupon. I just bought a second for another bike build and am confident it will serve me well. Great job Nashbar.

Compare the specs on this to other stems. Then compare the price. It really was a no-brainer if you're not caught up on the name.

Works fine; not much to say. I used a torque wrench to install and everything is tight and stiff. It's been a few weeks and all is well.

                    Comments about Nashbar OS Stem:

Bought 2 one for me and one for my wife. We wanted a more upright ride. We had 100mm and bought 70mm stems. Both worked out great but I did have to tap out 2 bolt holes on one of the stems. I may have cross threaded 2 bolt holes. I had to tap all the way to the bottom of the bolt holes. They fit perfectly and I would recommend them.

                        Comments about Nashbar OS Stem:

I wish I had read the whole description of the OS bars I bought. Didn't know OS meant oversized.(DUH!!) Ok, I'm old, too. I'm still used to bearings, races, and cones for headset adjustments. Anyway, once I got the new stem and headset spacers, the bars mounted in the stem perfectly the first time. They handle my weight and don't creak when I'm standing on the pedals.
