Comments about Skratch Labs Feed Zone Cookbook:

This is a wonderful book for the cyclist and chef alike! I am an avid weekend warrior, having gotten into the sport a little over a year ago, I did my first century last spring on a 30+ pound steel 1981 Fuji Montery. This year I've completely rebuilt a 1983 Team Fuji that's tipping the scales at approximately 20 pounds and I'm looking to shed weight from me to make for a truly enjoyable training and ride season.

I'm also an avid home chef (as is my wife) and the recipes in this book are beautiful and elegant, yet simple in their prep and short on ingredients. There's a wide range of choices, including homemade replacements for those laboratory made energy bars, including things like "savory bread bars" and "bacon muffins". All nutritional values are also included for those really trying to dial things in.

Trust me, it's totally worth a shot and the recipes are easy enough that all you need is a basic cooking knowledge to really follow them.

For what a person spends on protein bars alone, this is a worthwhile investment in your health and training!
