Have about 500 miles on these tires so far. Live in south Florida where there is a lot of debris on the roads and these tires are holding up well and can not see any wear yet.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro III SE Road Tire:

I purchased a pair of the Vittoria Rubino Pro III tires specifically for a long road event in northwestern Montana. The roads here are a bit rough, and the area we were riding for the event included a chip-seal area. The tires performed great and I had no flats, very happy. They are also fairly easy to change. The tires are not the lightest, but in my opinion they are a great all around tire.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro III SE Road Tire:

This is a great tire. Long-lasting, puncture resistant, rolls well. I prefer it to the Conti 4000s because it wears much better. I would give the 25 cm version 5 stars. The reason I'm giving this review 4 stars is that I ordered the 28 and it actually measures under 26 cm as reported in other reviews/publications. If you want a true 28, this is not it. Otherwise, a great tire.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro III SE Road Tire:

These tires are great. But the 700x28 is at best a 700x26. The 700x25 is close to actual size. So a 3mm stated size difference is really about a 1mm difference. Still great tires, but wish the 700x28 were closer to actual 28 as that is what I need.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro III SE Road Tire:

I ride 6-7k per year and almost never wear these out and hardly ever get flats. Every few thousand miles, i will get a cut in a tire, but it usually does not flat, and I replace it. i estimate 3 k rear and 6k front if I run them to casing. Fast and good grip. Under $30 on sale. I have been using these exclusively for about 5 years.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro III SE Road Tire:

I ordered the 28s to use on a mix of paved and gravel roads, the tread looked much better for that than the semi-slicks offered by other brands. On a 20 mm rim, inflated to 90 psi, it measures barely over 25 mm. On a 24 mm rim, just over 26 mm. By comparison, a Continental 25mm is just as wide. They are going back.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro III SE Road Tire:

These are great tires, I would prefer to roll on slicks for performance but where I live water runs across the road in random spots, curves, n down hills, so safety is more important than a small advantage n speed.

I normally us 700x23 but thought I might try 700x25. I have rode only 50 miles on the tires, but I have them to be quick and very smooth. I have very good luck with the Tech version of this tire and assume these will work as well. A lot of tire for a good price.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro III SE Road Tire:

I bought these after using EVOs for a couple of years because I didn't want to spend the money at the time. I knew it would be a big chance but I still wanted a better than average tire and I like Vittoria. Ok, so I knew what I was getting into.

These tires are very durable as I have had them for 1.5 years and have over 1k miles. Very little wear and I have not had any punctures. The speed is nothing close to the EVOs but it is good. The road feel is not there either but I am ok with that. Rain riding has been very acceptable.

They are a bit heavy and you feel it. These are not speed oriented. I love the EVOs for that. But you will get plenty of life out of these and can switch to fast tires for racing.

If this is the kind of tire you are looking for and you get them on sale you will not be disappointed.
