Comments about Michelin Pro4 Endurance Road Tire:

I ride about 50 miles weekly and a few organized rides throughout the year. Flats, comfort, mileage and handling are my main concern. Pretty normal huh. Had Schwalbe Luganos last, so far the new tires feel better, time will tell on the flats/mileage. If they work as well as they do on my other vehicles, I will buy them again.

This is my go to clincher tire. It isn't very heavy, I get some longevity wear wise, and I haven't had problems with punctures.

Comments about Michelin Pro4 Endurance Road Tire:

I put there tires on my bike, in Mid-July this past summer. They have well over 1,500 miles. No sighs of wearing or cracking. Used them in rain and dry weather. Do a good all around job. Hope to get over 3k miles on them. Just bought another set to put away to use for next year.

Comments about Michelin Pro4 Endurance Road Tire:

I was a long time user of the Michelin Krylion's. Loved the puncture resistance, and always got decent wear out of them (2500 mi), but I never felt safe/stable on them downhill or in corners. This year I switched to the Krylion relacement, the Pro4 Endurance tires. Wear is equal to, or better, than Krylion's and no punctures (2000 mi). I now feel 100% safe/stable downhill and in the corners and they are lighter too!!! I'm pretty confident that any Krylion user will love these tires. They are a great choice for any rider that does not need super light tires for racing.

Comments about Michelin Pro4 Endurance Road Tire:

I'm pleased with these tires! I hated replacing my Krylion tires that I loved so much. First tried gatorskins, and they were just heavy and slow. Some of our roads are really rough around here, and I hate flats as much as I hate slow. So I tried a set of these. Over 3,000 miles later, they're wearing a bit, but still okay for the winter. They ride better than the gatorskins, they're puncture resistant, and they've held up to some harsh road riding! Buying these again!

Comments about Michelin Pro4 Endurance Road Tire:

I've had mixed experiences with Michelin tires over the course of several decades. I now live in Oakland, and the roads here are pretty terrible (potholes, cracks, glass, thorns, stones in the streets). My Michelin Litheon 2 were gone pretty fast - multiple flats in one weekend alone. Switched them for Pro 4 Endurance, believing these would be sturdier. Not so - still flats within the mile, with brand new tires and tubes. Next weekend I replaced the tubes with the green slimy self sealing tubes. Still flat within the next couple of blocks. I dunno - at this point I just lost my religion.

Maybe I should put on some really heavy city bike tires. I have Michelin Pilot Sport Protek HD on my city bike, and I took my city bike (steel frame, heavy) on the same course I like to race. No flats, no nonsense. Maybe that is kind of tire for Oakland streets.

Comments about Michelin Pro4 Endurance Road Tire:

Have put many of trouble free miles on Michelin Krylion Carbon tires so was not happy to see them go. This is my first set of the Michelin Pro4 Endurance road tire, witch look to be a good replacement. The ride seems a little harder and profile is a little taller to that of Michelin Krylion, grip and handling seem about the same. They have been on my bike now for two weeks and over 300 miles of riding on some rough chip sealed roads in Fort Ord and on the Monterey Bike Trail (I hate to say along with all the new graffiti breaking bottles on the trail seems to be a trend) the tires are showing there toughness with no cuts or nicks. Don't know how many miles these tires will last but they are looking good so far.
