The pedals came on time (7 days after ordered). Assembling is easy and straight forward. The pedals look beautiful and well constructed but a bit on the heavy side.

        Comments about Nashbar Soho Pedals:

I've had these pedals for about 3 weeks. They seem well made and will probably be durable. They are slightly lighter than the Crank Bros Mallet pedals that I swapped with them. In my opinion, the Crank Bros pedals are easier to clip into and release out of. One drawback that I didn't anticipate with this pedal: using them on my road bike, with the platform side facing down (riding while clipped in), the platform side hits the pavement when cornering, even when I'm not leaning excessively. Probably fine on a mtn bike with higher bottom bracket.

The versatility of these pedals is fantastic for a casual rider such as myself. They work just as well as the shimano a530's that I have on my other bike. I can't say much about durability/longevity at this point though

I have purchased three pair (for my road bike--which I much prefer as I can actually walk around in my shoes-unlike with the look pedals I took off--On my cyclocross bike and my mountian bike). I am about to purchase a fourth set for my endurance bike. I can interchange my shoes. Thanks Nashbar for having these. They are not heavy and I have had no problems.

i'm glad i shopped around as these pedals, in my opinion, are a much better designed pedal than others that have the same features.. excellent value for the money because they do exactly what they were purchased for. also, these do have a sealed bearing.. get these.. you won't regret it..

I have only put about 100 miles on them but so far they are great. Both sides have been for good for me. I clip in when I ride long distances or commute but use the flat side when I am pulling my son in a trailer (we get out a lot at playgrounds, etc). They are easy in and out and very comfortable when using casual shoes.

                    Comments about Nashbar Soho Pedals:

I try to bike to work 3 or 4 days/week & I like to use shoes that have a recessed cleat so I don't slip & slide all over the post office floor when I'm dropping off our daily shipments. I use that same bike for short trips around town and biking with my kids. These work right in both cases. Easy to clip in & out of, but the platform side is also big enough that you don't feel like you're hunting for the pedal if they aren't turned over properly to clip in. Makes taking off from a busy intersection a lot less stressful. I've been using them for about a month now and I'm pleased so far. Bearings seem to spin freely & aren't noisy. Studs on the platform side could be a little sharper so your shoes get a better bite. Not the lightest pedal around, but this isn't my TT bike so I don't really care!
