If you thought the iClic was cool, you ain't seen nothing yet. Time has taken the revolutionary technology found in the iClic and iClic II and taken yet another quantum leap. The Time Xpresso 4 road pedals are an entirely new kind of clipless pedal with a faster, more intuitive engagement system that instantly and easily engages your cleat without any force or rubbing. Thanks to the carbon flexion blade and redesigned pedal body, you'll get clipped in faster, release easier and ride more comfortably than you ever thought possible. The new system uses the iClic/iClic II cleat, so you don't even need to invest in new spare cleats or change the ones on your shoes (unless they're really worn out...).
Automatic pre-opening engagement mechanism is always in the "open" position, so all you have to do is put your cleat on the pedal you're ready to go
Adjustable angular sensation makes your ride feel more comfortable
Q-factor can be adjusted by using the right cleat on the left shoe and vice versa
BIOPOSITION Concept minimizes the distance between the sole and the pedal axle for optimized power transfer
Steel axle is stiff and won't flex under load
Carbon body with oversized 700mm platform provides a stable pedaling surface
Pedal system works well. Plenty of float with sensation sensor left on manufacturer's lowest setting. I have around 500 miles on a set of these, and they've been almost problem free except for the cleats making a little noise which a little bit of grease took care of. Other than that, they have been very good.
