Comments about Nashbar Alpe D'Huez Pedals:

I've been using these pedals for less than a month, so I can't comment on durability, but they are working just fine. I switched to these from Shimano because the Shimano replacement cleats are so expensive and I ride a lot, which means that replacing cleats can get expensive. Replacement cleats for these are less than half the price and work just as well.

Comments about Nashbar Alpe D'Huez Pedals:

The pedals are nice, work well. The issue I have is the replacement of the cleats. They use the Look Keo cleat @ 34 bucks and change. I paid less than that for the pedal on sale. I guess I will be buying new pedals when I need to replace cleats. LOL
Nashbar needs to get some Nashbar branded Keo cleats quick!

I was going to purchase one of the brand names, but took a chance on the bargain priced Nashbar product, was surprised the quality equaled the brand names, I'm now wondering if they are actually made by the big name brand.

Comments about Nashbar Alpe D'Huez Pedals:

They're light and easy to clip into. Great price for a set of carbon pedals... if you're going to try and save $ on a part, pedals are kind of a safe one.

Five stars for value - the cleats are cheapo... so plan to replace them eventually. Considering the price I didn't think that warranted a lost star.

Comments about Nashbar Alpe D'Huez Pedals:

Needed a new set of pedals and once I read all the reviews of this model I decided to try it out. So far, so good. Appears to be well made and VERY light. Lighter than the most expensive Shimano option, but priced incredibly low. I've put a little over a 100 miles on them and they will do just fine.

Comments about Nashbar Alpe D'Huez Pedals:

I replaced my old Ritchey SPD pedals with these, and first ride, I thought to myself, what took me so long!?!? These pedals turn over so smoothly and they very light, especially for the money. I really believe that these are one of the best buys out there, for a Keo-type pedal or ANY type pedal for that matter. If you like this kind of pedal or are just looking for a lightweight pedal at a GREAT price - these are the ones for you.

Comments about Nashbar Alpe D'Huez Pedals:

I have over 8K miles on my Nashbar Ventoux pedals, which are the Look Delta version of this newer Look Keo compatible pedal. Original cleats. Light, smooth, adjustable, easy-in easy-out, did I say light smooth? I see no reason to update at this point to the Alpe d'Huez: I expect another 10K miles from my Ventoux. If the Alpe is as good as the Ventoux, there is no reason to shell out the big bucks for other high-priced pedals. Keep It Simple Stupid and spend your money on better wheels, or an extra beer at the end of the group ride.
