You asked for padding? You got it. The Nalini 4005 road shoe is less like a cycling shoe and more like a nylon-soled cloud that caresses your foot with plushness. The Nalini 4005 are definitely vintage, but they come from an era when the word comfort actually meant something. The thick padded collar, tongue and hell cradle your foot for optimal stability while pedaling. The three hook and loop straps hold the shoe securely to your foot, and the sturdy microfiber and uppers are both supportive and highly breathable. The reinforced nylon sole is plenty stiff to provide optimal pedaling efficiency. It's drilled for either two or three bolt cleats, and has a nice tall heel stack for walking comfort. Yeah, these aren't the lightest shoes we sell, but they might just be the most comfortable.
