Ism Adamo Typhoon Saddle
The Ism Adamo Typhoon Saddle is at the pinnacle of comfort and performance. We're talking about an all-purpose saddle that is designed to spare you the soft tissue and sit bone pain that can last long after you get off the bike. The Typhoon features the innovative full cutaway design that sits on lightweight, durable, and flexible Chromoly rails and is topped off with springs and a generous layer of gel and then covered in ultra-comfy lycra. This puts a whole lot between you and the treacheries of the road or trail. It's amazing they could get all this protection sandwiched into just 385 grams...but they did.
  • Spring and gel combination gives unprecedented cushion action
  • Lycra cover reduces friction and hotspots
  • Full cutaway design protects prostate, sit bones, and other soft tissue
  • Steel rails are strong, but have enough flex to absorb additional road/trail vibrations

Comments about Ism Adamo Typhoon Saddle:

This saddle is the most comfortable thing I have sat on. It does not take long to settle in to this seat once you start riding. Eventually, it made cycling more enjoyable and less painful hitting a bump (there are a lot on the roads here). However, because this seat was a little bit longer than a normal seat (though it doesn't have a nose, a part that extends forward) it toke some time to find the proper seat adjustment.

Comments about Ism Adamo Typhoon Saddle:

I ride a Specialized road bike and have this saddle on it. It is quite comfortable and have never had any pain in my delicate areas. Not once. I have muscular legs(big thighs) so this saddle is just a hair too wide in the front, but even then I don't get discomfort. I've used it on metric centuries and never had numbness or pain on my crotch/perineum. As much as I love cycling I choose the health of my man parts over cycling. Thankfully this saddle doesn't cause soft tissue damage in the important areas so I can cycle and not cause damage! If you have fairly big legs or have a smaller build(I'm 5'7), I suggest you go with the other model that is a bit narrower so the nose of saddle doesn't rub your thighs. I think this saddle will be great for people with bigger wider builds, 5'9 and up or those with skinny legs. I say this because if you have a wide bottom side you probably won't get any rubbing since you are wider. Or those with skinny thighs wont get rubbing because there's more clearance for saddle up front. Either way, buy an Adamo saddle! Save your private parts, stop the numbness, and ride in comfort!
