This tire was recommended to me by the friendly staff at Bike Nashbar for a quiet tire when using my Bike Nashbar Fluid Pro trainer. I haven't used it on the rail trails yet but it is comparatively quiet enough to watch travel videos (Road Nomad, etc) while training. It's quiet enough not to freak out the cats! Looks good too!

Comments about Nashbar Streetwise City Tire:

Tires have ~350 miles thus far and they've been great. Used primarily for commuting and they roll very smoothly and quickly. Put it this way: on a paved, downhill path, I leave my buddy waaaay behind if we just coast (he's on MTB knobbies so it's not a 1-1 comparison but was a surprising gap).
On a hard packed trail they've done very well too though with a lack of tread, I would not use this bike in wet/snow covered roads or muddy trails. I haven't experienced any close calls but there's little room for water or mud to escape between the grooves.
I'm running the tires a bit above the max pressure with no problems in durability or ride quality. The bike is an old Giant Yukon that I've converted into a commuter (racks, fenders, narrow tires, etc...)
Overall two thumbs up, especially at the price.

These tires are better than the price would suggest. Highly recommend them. They are pliable and smooth running. Bought them so I could use an older MTB as a run-about.

Purchased these to breath new life into and encourage more use out of an older MTB. Was immediately impressed with the quality and feel of these tires. Lightweight and grippy, they provide a smooth and confident ride on most paved surfaces. The price on these is a steal. I ordered a second set.

Bought a set as replacement for tires on new bike purchased recently (Raleigh Cadent). Wanted a "less agressive" tread pattern for smoother ride with less effort on primarily paved trails and roads...this tire delivers at a very good price. Hopefully treadlife will be decent. No complaints so far.
