Your average multi-tool doesn't do it all, and at 160g, the Topeak Hexux II 16-function bike mini tool is a roadside lifesaver. Not only does it have the standard hex, Phillips, and flat screwdrivers, it's got plastic tire levers, a Torx T-25, spoke wrenches, and even a chain tool with hook. If they could fit a BB tool on there, you could pretty much build a whole bike with this thing.
I love the light weight, but not so excited about the plastic tire levers (that's why I only rated it 4 stars). I will have to be VERY careful if I ever need to use them on the trail to avoid breaking them. My last multi-tool was also a Topek, but I lost it when my tailpack departed the bike during a ride 6 weeks ago. It was way heavier than this one, the tire levers were much more substantial, but Nasbar doesn't offer that model anymore ... oh well --- but I do love the ligher weight on this one! : )

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
