Few lights can claim the ability to light up a trail so bright that you could literally ride at the same speeds as the middle of the day and not be at any greater risk...but the Niterider Pro 1200 Race Headlight can. Even at the 12 hour setting of 180 lumens, enduro racers can comfortably tackle the tribulations of an overnight ride, but if you really need to light the place up, you certainly can. Helmet or bar mounts keep it to your riding preference, and a smart charger gets you up to full juice in under 6 hours.

I ride very rough, rocky, technical trails. This light charges fast, has good run time, and a very excellent beam patter. Mine is the newer one which is a single light head. Very light weight on the helmet. I have a Magic Shine, and the medium setting on this Niterider is brighter, and a wider beam pattern than the Magic Shine is on high. High is only needed on very fast sections. It is nice that the light does not go off at any time when cycling through the modes.
