Comments about Louis Garneau Pro Max 2 Shorts:

I wear lots of LG jerseys that are one size up. Doesn't work for the shorts as the xxl size has humongous padding that feels and looks like a loaded diaper on me. The XL is too tight around my super muscular (and chunky) legs. Looks like LG is not for me even though it's nice stuff.

I'm not a big fan of spending a lot of money on spandex. These were on sale and had good reviews, so I gave them a try and they fit very well, have nice padding, and seem pretty durable. I'll probably buy another pair in my next order.

Comments about Louis Garneau Pro Max 2 Shorts:

Purchased as a second pair of shorts for a long tour, I chose the XL size based on my 6' height and 180 pounds and the fit is fine. High enough in the back and no bunching. The contoured chamois pad takes some getting used to. They cost about 30% more than the Sugoi shorts I bought last and seem to be worth the difference.

Comments about Louis Garneau Pro Max 2 Shorts:

I am new to road cycling and I bought this LG per friend's recommendation. Love the material...a grade above pearl izumi and primal wear I tried. The padding is good, but I can't help but wanting something more cushionly...probably because I am not used to riding 30+ miles yet.

Comments about Louis Garneau Pro Max 2 Shorts:

I ride 3-4 days a week, mostly MTB, some road.

These are good shorts for the money. They are not as nice as my Garneau Neo Power shorts, but they are 1/4 the money. They are a good addition to a rotation of 4 chamois, and will get worn plenty.

The pad is comfortable and seems as though it will hold up well.

I bought these for use on my weekend rides. The fit is good. The support is nice. I would have liked the chamois to be a little further forward, but I was comfortable enough on a 30 plus mile ride.
