It didn't take WTB long to develop some amazing race-level rubber for the recently popular sport of Cyclocross--in fact, the WTB Cross Wolf Race Cyclocross tire is a lightweight, aggressively treaded, and made of a dual DNA compound rubber that digs into corners, loamy climbs, mud, and loose dirt and resists punctures and sidewall damage that even the most brutal courses can dish out.
Cross Wolf's Aramid bead provides greater bead-seat characteristics, while weighing in lighter than conventional wire beads
WTB's fast-rolling 60a Durometer rubber compound is specifically formulated for high-performance riding in a variety of conditions
WTB's premiere cyclocross tire weighs in at 370 grams
Comments about Wilderness Trail Bikes WTB Cross Wolf Race Cyclocross Tire:
Only had these a few weeks so far. Hard to get on my Stans Iron Cross rims, which means probably won't burp too easily. I've run them as low as 20psi front/rear and didn't burp, but I am new to CX, so I haven't really pushed them to their limits. Great for trail riding and dirt. Slide a bit in the grass.
Will have my first race on these soon. Full tubeless setup.
