Comments about Nashbar Rambler City Tire:

This is one of my fav street tires for my MTBs that I use on the road for conditioning. They are a decent width for and have fair low rolling resistance. Very Durable and dependable. One of the best tire buys around for my needs.

Comments about Nashbar Rambler City Tire:

LOVE THIS TIRE. GREAT PRICE FOR A RUBBER TIRE THAT WORKS GREAT ON THE ROAD AND SIDEWALKS. HAD LOTS OF PUNCTURE TUBE ISSUES BEFORE GETTING THIS TIRE. HAVEN'T HAD ONE SINCE. 700X38 WAS THE FIRST SET I HAD. SUPER CONFORT. ITS A BIG TIRE I KNOW. THEN I GOT 700X32 AND I LOVE EVEN MORE. MORE FIRM BUT HANDLES THE ROAD GREAT. STILL A WIDE TIRE BUT I ENJOY THE FORGIVENESS. AMAZING PRICE FOR A TIRE THAT LASTS A LONG TIME.

bought 700x38 to replace existing tires, however measured widths are 40.2 and 40.7. Ok for front tire, but rear tire rubs against frame.

Been riding NashBar brand tires for 2 years, on and off road, they have a quality product, puncture resistant and I currently have 1200 miles on my road bike and still have tread left. Great price too

Seems like good quality for the price. Used the 32mm on a road bike for around town, would also be good for rails to trails. Cant speak about durability yet, only had two weeks

I bought a couple of these tires and mounted them on my bike. The fit seemed quite loose. They were mounted on standard 700 rim that I had mounted 38 mm tires on before without any issues. The rear tire came of the rim at high speed, blew the tube, fortunately I did not crash. NASHBAR should not be selling these tires. They are dangerous!

Comments about Nashbar Rambler City Tire:

I had a problem mounting one of the tires. I was filling with air and deflating to seat the tube. I always do this several times and gradually build to full pressure. This gets any folds or kinks out of the tube. A little baby powder on the tube helps with this. The first tire worked fine. When I got up to 35lbs with the second tire the bead popped and the tube blew before I could grab it and deflate it. I tried it again more slowly two more times and it started to happen again. Finally I put about 20lbs in and let it rest overnight and it worked fine. I figured thats what it needed to straiten out the bead some since they come creased from being folded from shipping. After the tires were finally mounted and up to full pressure I spun them on the bike, one of them seemed to be slightly out of round.
