Louis Garneau Enerblock Nordic Jacket

Great moisture wicking keeps you from getting clammy, and reflective logos keep you from getting hit.

Comments about Louis Garneau Enerblock Nordic Jacket:

I bought this jacket hoping it would be weather proof and warm as stated, it is not. The front is water proof the back is not. It does stop cold wind at the chest level but not at the arms. Cold air seems to sneak in at the cuffs and sleeves. The pocket on the sleeve is okay but the zipper and location make it difficult to access contents without having to use one hand to pull on the zipper and the other to hold the sleeve. The front pockets are good for keeping some food handy. I don't trust it at temps below 50 degrees unless you are doubly layered. On its own this is not a warm jacket. The look and build of this jacket however are very nice. The material feel, fit and construction are very good. The jacket feels to be of high quality material and build. With all this said I love this jacket and strongly recommend it for cool days but definitely not for cold rainy days. I commute 24 miles round trip and winter here in Tucson can range from the twenties to seventies. I am 6 foot 1 and about 210.

Comments about Louis Garneau Enerblock Nordic Jacket:

Best use as a layering garment. Will not provide warmth. This version had no back pockets. Ok if clearance priced otherwise overpriced. I'm still looking for that perfect jacket (similar to this style) but with a fleece layer to provide some warmth!

Commuter, 5' 10" 160lbs, purchased a large and it is a little big but I like the extra room and fit. Looks good. The only con is you can sweat easily when riding hard, but when the weather gets colder that may change.

Awesome Coat, nice and warm for chilly rides, very comfortable with plenty of pocket space.

          Wish it had removable sleeves.

After not having ridden since 1987, these past 2 1/2 months of riding (Jul-Sep 2014) have been a blessing. In preparation for continued riding, I purchased this jacket for this fall. I anticipate wonderful riding.

I am big Garneau fan and loved this jacket but this large was falling off of me. It was probably an XL with a L label. I regretably had to return it.
